からくり弓道体験場の特徴
～Features of Karakuri Kyudo Experience site～
からくり弓道体験場の一番の特徴は何といっても初回から弓を引けることです。
通常、弓道は型を覚えるまでは弓を持つことはありません。
でもからくり弓道体験場では先生がこれまでの指導経験をもとに、一人一人に合わせて教えることで初めから矢を放つことができます。
The biggest highlight of Karakuri Kyudo Experience site is that you can draw a bow from your very first lesson.
Normally in kyudo, students don't even hold a bow until they've mastered the basic form. But here, drawing on years of teaching experience, Master tailors his instruction to each individual student, allowing beginners to shoot an arrow from day one.

弓道とハープ
一見異なる二つの世界には深く通じ合う美があります。
ハープの起源は古代の弓にあるといわれ、
弦を張り、力を蓄え、解き放つことで美が生まれる
という本質は共通しています。
弓道の「残心」、ハープの「余韻」
形の先に生まれる静けさや響きが、
人の心を深く動かします。
この精神を表現すべく、弓道とハープ演奏のコラボレーションを行い、毎年元旦には千本釈迦堂にて奉納公演をお届けしています。
矢は的に届き、音は心に届く。
その静けさと美しさを、
これからも伝えていきたいと願っています。
Kyudo and the harp may seem worlds apart, yet they share a deep beauty.
The harp is said to descend from the ancient bow drawing the string, gathering strength, then releasing it into beauty. This essence unites both arts.
In kyudo, stillness after the arrow -zanshin- is treasured. The harp holds a similar resonance after each note fades. It is this silence beyond form that moves to heart.
To express this shared spirit, we hold kyudo-harp collaborative performances, with a dedicatory performance held every New Year's Day at Senbon Shakado Temple.
The arrow reaches the target; the sound reaches the heart. Through kyudo and the harp, we hope to share the stillness and beauty of that single moment.

演奏を担うのは、弓道の稽古にも励む作曲家・ハープ奏者、朝川朋之。
大河ドラマ「光る君へ」のメインテーマ演奏をはじめ
「ファイブスター物語」などの音楽制作にも携わり、
映画・テレビ・コンサートと幅広く活動しています。
The harpist is Tomoyuki Asakawa, a composer and harpist who also trains in kyudo. His work spans film, television, and concerts - including his performance of the main theme for the NHK taiga drama "Hikaru Kimi e", and music production for works such as "Five Star Stories".
